Participation in Democracy (PID)-Period 1 Assignments

In your planner write a 1 -2 paragraph summary of what you learned from Kanehunamoku Voyaging Society when they came to visit at school and if you participated on the excursion.

1- Identify key figures of the Enlightenment Era such as:  
 Thomas Hobbes
John Locke
Baron de Montesquieu
Jean Jacques Rousseau
Voltaire
Mary Wollstonecraft
       Choose one of the key figures above.


2 - Write down at least 3 things that this person did during his time on Google Jam Document.

Read the Declaration of Independence.

Memorize the 6 Moku of Oahu and write down at least 1 place from each moku in your composition book.

You will receive 2 post its and write down what Intellectual Safety means to you.


We will go over the meaning of Intellectual Safety and you will write it down in your Composition Book.

You will be given 2 post its to write down what Civic Action means to you.


You will then take notes and write down the definition of Civic Action in your Composition Book.

We will be learning E Ho Mai.
